Sharing Session on the Management Strategy of BLU between Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta Indonesian Institute of Arts Yogyakarta

Delegates from the BLU task force team of the Indonesian Institute of Arts Yogyakarta (ISI Yogyakarta) visited the Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta on Tuesday, August 27, 2023, for a sharing session on BLU management at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. 

BLU (Badan Layanan Umum, literal: Public Service Agency) is an agency within state-owned institutions that is formed to provide services to the community in the form of supplying goods and/or services that are sold without prioritizing profit and in carrying out its activities based on the principles of efficiency and productivity.

The activity opened with remarks, directions and an explanation regarding the profile of Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta by the Director, Dr. Iswanto, S.Pd., M.Kes. Next, there was the delivery of the intent and purpose of the visit from the Vice Chancellor I of the Indonesian Art Institute Mr. Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. After that, there was an exchange of souvenirs and the minutes of hand-over by the representatives of each institution. The event continued with a presentation by the Head of Internal Auditor, Mr. Margono, S.Pd., App., M.Sc regarding BLU Management Strategies at Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta, followed by a discussion. The discussion was quite long and full of enthusiasm from the ISI Yogyakarta delegation because there were various aspects that they wanted to comprehend about the process of establishing a working unit of BLU, as what Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta had been gone through. It is hoped that this visit will be a beginning for further cooperation or collaboration between the two institutions.
